Choir Hosts Parish Reception on March 17

IMG_0192
On Sunday, March 17, the St. Philip's Choir hosted a beautiful and delicious reception in the Parish Hall. Parishioners enjoyed beef tenderloin, bacon-wrapped quail, tortellini, deviled eggs, tea sandwiches, canapés, fruit, veggies, scrumptious desserts, and so much more.

Jean Carlton, a soprano, used her culinary magic to provide much of the food. Bill Warlick, a tenor, created the amazing floral centerpiece. At one time, 13 choir members were busily working in the kitchen. Still more came to help clean up. Several, including Cassie Nagel (soprano), Janice Grant (soprano) and Jean, never made it to church--they worked the entire time.

We hope the congregation received as much enjoyment from the reception as we did from planning it and putting it together. We just wanted to give a huge "thank you" to all for your support, and to invite everyone to answer God’s call if He is calling you to serve in choir. Call me to set up a very easy audition (843-364-9552) or email me at pgould@stphilipschurchsc.org.

Thank you, choir members, for a job well done!
